The Tamiya Hyper-Dash 3 Motor is a high-performance, single-shaft motor designed for Mini 4WD cars, known for its excellent balance of speed and torque, making it versatile for a variety of course types.
Features and Specifications
The Hyper-Dash 3 (Item 15477) is an update to previous versions and is a popular choice for advanced racers due to its reliability and performance characteristics.
- Balanced Performance: This motor excels on courses that feature a mix of straights, corners, slopes, and technical sections, offering good acceleration and high top speed.
- Durable Brushes: It uses a silver/carbon mix material for its brushes, which ensures an excellent balance of electrical efficiency and durability, resulting in a longer operational lifespan.
- Design: The motor features a distinctive red endbell cap and a silver metal housing. Special "Japan Cup" limited editions often feature unique labels but maintain the same internal specifications.
